Mack Engine Serial Number and 11GBA Number Reference

     This guide will help the sales person find the exact parts needed for the customer’s engine.  Note that this guide may not apply to every engine serial number.  The engine serial number should contain a series of numbers and letters that are six to seven digits long.  The series of numbers should begin with one number followed by one letter and followed by four to five more numbers.  If the serial number is missing or hard to read, try to provide us with the 11GBA number.  This number begins with 11GB or 11GBA followed by four to seven numbers.  Examples of both are shown below.  Along with the engine model, the sales representative will be looking for this type of information to narrow down the correct engine parts.
