Our pistons are designed based on OE specifications for the Duramax LML engine and include various oversize options. Please check the specifics below to ensure the correct pistons are ordered. If you have questions, please give us a call.

Please verify the engine before purchasing:
- All LML engines are identified by having two EGR Coolers.  If the engine has two EGR Coolers, these are the correct pistons. If there is a single RECTANGULAR EGR Cooler, then the engine is an LMM, and the pistons are located here. If there is a single CYLINDRICAL EGR Cooler, then the engine is an LLY or LBZ. Some LLY engines take different pistons. Please check the year model and if the original pistons have the GRAPHITED COATING. The GRAPHITED Pistons are our LLY/LBZ/LMM pistons. If the injectors are UNDER the valve cover or the Pistons do not have a coating, then use our LB7 Pistons, located here.
