The Engine Serial Number will be located on the engine plate.  This plate with contain enough useful data to narrow down your engine build.  This is very important for finding the correct parts that were used in the manufacturing of your engine.  There are three parts to the Engine Serial Number:

2. Engine Model
3. Sequential Serial number
